Applying Learning Styles in the Classroom
K-12 and Post-secondary Faculty; Community Instructors
Three hours (half day, 3 CEUs)
Instructor: Stephanie Kern, M.Ed.
Your faculty will discover their own learning style, and how a cross modal approach to teaching can facilitate formative assessment and drive higher levels of learning. Delivered at your site, all assessments and materials included. Participants are eligible to earn 3 credits of continuing education through the Montana Office of Public Instruction.
In this workshop, participants will:
Discover their unique learning style how to create lesson plans that automatically teach to multiple learning styles at once.
Be able to identify cross modal activities, and understand how they drive higher level thinking.
Understand how cross modal activities facilitate formative assessment.
Practice incorporating Learning Styles into new or existing curriculum.
